This 1978 Kenner Star Wars X-Wing fighter came to us in a bit of a sorry state. The restoration included sourcing an original canopy, restoring the white plastic using a 'Retro Brightening' technique, producing some replica cannons, adding new decals and giving everything a good clean with warm soapy water. A 3D printed display stand was added for additional effect. To date we have successfully rescued 20 of these wonderful toys from varying states decay and turned them into collectable items.
This 1980 Kenner Star Wars Snowspeeder came to us as a dusty shell. The restoration included producing some replica parts (canopy, rear engines, cannons, battery cover and harpoon), restoring the white plastic using a 'Retro Brightening' technique, straightening the rear fin, rewiring the 1980s electronics, adding new decals and giving everything a good clean with warm soapy water. To date we have successfully rescued 12 of these toys from varying states decay and turned them into collectable items.
This 1980s Kenner Millennium Falcon restoration has included, a throughout good clean with warm soapy water, retro brightening the shell & plastic pieces, replacement decals and a 3D printed reproduction of the jedi training ball. The 1980's sound effects also needed repair to return to this toy to a fully working example which can be enjoyed once more. To date we have successfully restored two of these toys with a third underway.
